I really hate Winter.
I’m an unashamedly warm-weather girl.
I’m a bright colours girl.
The colours of the beach, the garden, and the sunny skies of summer (well maybe not this Summer, thanks to La Niña).
And I especially crave colour in the cooler months when we don’t have all those wonderful colours of nature around us so much.
To curb my colour-craving winter blues, I wanted our Autumn-Winter range to be warm & bright.
To put us all in a sunny state of mind.
It’s 12 weeks that I’d love to be able to press Fast Forward on, but alas we must endure June through August like an extended Hump Day Wednesday.
So, let’s do it with some cheery colour shall we?
The Resortwear range is purposefully trans-seasonal - and resort-ready if you’re lucky enough to get away.
So you can wear these pieces now, but layer them up when its cooler.
We have lots of flowing maxi dresses – everyday, wear-everywhere dresses – in multi-coloured block prints, and moody ikat prints.
We have relaxed linen pants in sun-soaked brights that style back with our chunky, colourful knits.
We even have some dark indigo denim, some classic sailor-striped Ts, and some retro 70s-surf cozzie coverups.
In Accessories it’s all about the shift away from straw baskets & hats, to more wintery but still very trans-seasonal leather, suede & wool.
We have heavenly hand-knitted wool totes in rainbow shades, and super fun clutches in suede and shearling.
Plus some gorgeous felt fedoras from Ecuador, and hippie-chic crochet bum bags just dying to get on a plane.
The Jewels take a bit of a back seat this season, with a capsule collection of sunny enamel huggie earrings and giant gemstone hoops.
Plus our beloved African Glass Bead Bracelets with their intricate horsehead clasp are translated into statement-making chokers which work so well with seasonal sweaters.
My favourite pieces?
It has to be the beautifully bright maxis that you can wear loose & flowing poolside now with slide. Then winterise them with our new butter-soft, Italian leather sash belts, some trainers or boots, and a cardi or slouchy knits.
Team them with our Sydney-made knit totes, and the giant gemstone hoops and you’re ready to roll right through til Summer.
